Bergsig Private Game Reserve Accommodation
Bergsig Private Game Reserve offers comfortable Self-catering accommodation in Mossel Bay, in our private and secure wood chalets that overlook the Hartenbos River, all with en-suite bathrooms and with their own entrances. The chalets are equipped with a braai (barbecue) facility, open-plan kitchen, lounge area with a sleeper couch and walks out onto a deck. With magnificent views of the Outeniqua mountains, surrounded by natural bushveld, river valleys, grass hills and diverse wildlife, Bergsig Private Game Reserve offers guests absolute tranquility that can only be found in nature. Activities include guided quad bike safaris, game drives, fishing, hunting and helicopter flights. Situated only 7 km’s from the coastal town of Hartenbos in the Mossel Bay area, Bergsig Private Game Reserve is easy accessible and ideally situated near the coast. Mossel Bay is a popular holiday destination during the summer because of its beautiful beaches and other attractions that include golfing, gambling, boating, water sports, hiking trails, shopping and museums.

CONSERVATION FEES:
All National Parks & Reserves charge a fee to finance their substantial management. Bergsig Game Farm is no exception, and also being privately owned, it is up to the owner to maintain all land management and conservation. As from 1 March 2023 each guest will pay a once off conservation fee of R100 per adult and R50 per child under the age of 12. Any other donations will be sincerely appreciated. These funds are a necessity to aid us with the natural and wildlife conservation, and goes more directly towards antipoaching and protection of our endangered species, feeding, infrastructure as well as land & water conservation and rehabilitation.
Our Black Impala unit has a beautiful bedroom with a queen sized bed and an en-suite step-in shower. It has its own private entry and is situated on the Hartenbos river, with private BBQ facilities.
Our beautiful Mountain Zebra Honeymoon Suite is a wooden house, which sleeps two adults.
